On the morning of Sunday, June 22, a man known by the nickname “Argentino” was brutally murdered on Monte Sião Street, in the Jorge Teixeira neighborhood, East Zone of Manaus, Brazil.
The victim was dismembered, with body parts scattered across multiple locations. Some were discarded, while others were set on fire.
According to eyewitnesses, one of the dumping sites was near Professora da Silva Barbosa Municipal School, where remains of the victim were found still burning—headless, armless, and without legs. Military police were called to the scene, extinguished the flames, and cordoned off the area for forensic experts.
Investigations revealed that “Argentino” was affiliated with the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC), and had been marked for death by the rival gang Comando Vermelho (CV), which reportedly offered a bounty of R$100,000 for his whereabouts.
The case is under active investigation by the Specialized Police Department for Homicide and Kidnapping (DEHS), which is working to confirm the victim’s full identity and apprehend those responsible for the gruesome crime.
