São Paulo, Brazil – A woman was fatally run over and dragged along a busy avenue by her enraged ex-husband after he spotted her walking with another man, local witnesses reported.
Residents said they heard the victim’s desperate screams echoing across the avenue as the vehicle struck her repeatedly and dragged her body for several meters. The woman was rushed to hospital in critical condition but succumbed to severe injuries, authorities confirmed.
The suspect was arrested at the scene. Police are investigating the case as femicide motivated by jealousy.
