Authorities in Tamaulipas, Mexico, discovered the decapitated body of missing Policía Ministerial Investigadora agent Luis Fernando Rodríguez Ramírez early Thursday under a bridge at kilometer 10 on Prolongación Juan Capitán El Chihue road, Victoria–Soto la Marina stretch.
An anonymous tip at 4:46 AM alerted State Guard elements to the gore scene: the agent’s lifeless headless corpse with his severed head placed between his legs, accompanied by a cartel message reading, “Sigan buscando y van a encontrar, Ciudad Victoria tiene dueño” (Keep searching and you’ll find more, Ciudad Victoria has an owner).
Rodríguez Ramírez had been reported missing since January 10, 2026. Tamaulipas’ Fiscalía General de Justicia confirmed his identity, cordoned the blood-soaked site for forensics, and opened an investigation into the brutal homicide.
