Timișoara, Romania – A 45-year-old man was found dead in a rented hotel apartment after decapitating himself using a homemade guillotine-style device.
Police discovered two suicide notes at the scene. One note had a USB stick attached containing a final message explicitly asking authorities not to investigate or search for any other involved persons.
The man was previously divorced but had reportedly rebuilt his life with a new partner. Authorities are continuing to investigate the motives behind the extremely violent suicide method.
