Tbong Khmum, Cambodia – A jealous ex-lover shot and killed a couple at a villa this morning before turning the gun on himself in a tragic love triangle murder-suicide, police confirmed.
The gunman, identified as Vann T., 43, fatally shot Kim L.E., 42, and Sok V., 44, a Phnom Penh resident and police officer at the Ministry of Interior. Authorities say the shooting stemmed from Vann’s jealousy over Kim’s new relationship with Sok.
The murdered couple had planned to get engaged later this month in late March, which reportedly pushed Vann to commit the double murder before committing suicide.
