CABEDELO, PARAÍBA, BRAZIL – MAY 11, 2026 – A horrific accident on the BR-230 highway claimed the life of an unidentified man who was attempting to cross the road on an overpass in the Renascer district while carrying a canister of gasoline.
The man was first struck by a motorcycle, causing him to fall onto the roadway, where he was then run over by a passing truck. The impact completely crushed him, resulting in fatal injuries. Authorities confirmed he died at the scene.
The motorcyclist sustained injuries in the initial collision and was transported to hospital. Police are investigating the circumstances, and the overpass was temporarily closed for emergency services and cleanup.
