A 20-year-old man identified only as Lucas was arrested in Amparo, São Paulo, Brazil, after confessing to the murder and dismemberment of his wife’s 34-year-old cousin, Caio.
Lucas claimed he stabbed Caio during a confrontation after hearing his wife screaming in the living room. He then dismembered the body using a knife and a saw, scattering the remains across five locations in Amparo, with the torso left inside the residence.
The suspect expressed remorse and turned himself in after admitting the crime to relatives. He alleged the killing was motivated by years of harassment and abuse by Caio against his wife, including incidents when she was between 12 and 14 years old, along with recent unwanted messages.
