A man was shot dead early this Saturday next to Joventina Dias Hospital in the Compensa neighborhood of Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. Before being killed, the unidentified victim was forced to record a video accusing Military Police officers of corruption. In the recording, he claimed that members of the ROCAM unit, an elite battalion of the Amazonas state police, were involved in the diversion of seized drugs and their subsequent sale by individuals linked to drug trafficking.
