In Campo Limpo Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil, the decapitated body of a 50-year-old man was discovered tied to a tree in a wooded area. The severed head was located about 2.5 meters away from the torso. A knife was found embedded high in the tree trunk approximately 8 meters up, with ropes securing both the body and the tree.
Nearby, investigators recovered a bag containing a notebook with handwritten notes believed to be written by the victim. Authorities have expressed reasonable doubt over whether the death was a suicide, and the Civil Police are currently working to reconstruct the man’s final movements while analyzing the contents of the recovered notes.
