Couple Brutally Executed and Burned in Jequié
In the early hours of Sunday, January 5th, a horrifying crime unfolded in Jequié, Bahia state. Armed criminals invaded a residence and executed a couple in cold blood. After the brutal shooting, the assailants dragged the victims’ bodies outside the home and attempted to set them on fire. The flames, however, were not intense enough to fully consume the bodies, leaving them charred but not carbonized.
Locals revealed that the couple had ties to organized crime within the city. The woman, known by the nickname “Gaza,” was reportedly a familiar figure in the criminal underworld. This act of violence has shocked the community and raised fears of escalating tensions among rival groups. Authorities are investigating the case to identify the perpetrators and motives behind the gruesome attack.
