In Costa Marques, Rondônia, Brazil, the body of a woman, identified as Sidneia J.d.S.d.A., was discovered floating near the banks of the São Domingos River. Her head, right arm, and right thigh had been reduced to bare bone, apparently the result of predation. Upon arrival, the Military Police conducted an initial forensic examination, which revealed extensive tissue damage caused by fish. Authorities confirmed there were no visible signs of physical assault, and the investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to her death.
