A dismembered body was discovered in a water catchment lagoon in the Lagoa Azul area of Zona Norte, Natal. The victim was identified as Gabriel Fernando, 24, who worked as an app driver.
A fisherman found the remains and alerted authorities via Ciosp. Police initially recovered the torso, with firefighters later locating the head, arms, and legs nearby. The victim showed signs of gunshot wounds and had multiple tattoos aiding identification. He had been missing since the previous day and had no serious criminal record.
The case is under investigation by the Civil Police.
