A dismembered corpse belonging to 53-year-old Martín Ventura García was discovered on Copala Boulevard. Unofficial reports indicate the victim was allegedly kidnapped on Thursday, November 11, by unidentified individuals.
Family members identified and removed the remains before regional prosecutors’ experts could arrive to process the crime scene.
Next to the body parts, perpetrators left a pink cardboard sign with the message: “This is what will happen to everyone who dares mess with us. Understand that everyone has their own business, everyone has their own life. Family is sacred and must not be touched… Useless one, we are still looking for you… Sent to: Comando 18.”
