Grisly Discovery in Calabozo: Famous Trader’s Body Found Mutilated and Faceless in Guárico

Residents in the El Mangal sector along the road to Guaitoito in Misión Abajo, Calabozo, Guárico state, made a horrifying discovery on Saturday morning, July 26, 2025, finding a lifeless body bearing signs of extreme violence.

The victim was identified as Carmen Valentín Páez Torrealba, ID V-8.621.869, thanks to documents found among his belongings. The body, located in a wooded area, showed multiple wounds, mutilations, and shockingly lacked a face, indicating extraordinary cruelty in the crime.
