On Monday morning, a horrific scene unfolded in Chilapa de Álvarez, located in Guerrero’s Montaña region, as authorities discovered the dismembered bodies of two men and two women along the Chilpancingo-Tlapa federal highway near the Xochimilco community. The remains were scattered beside the road, with the victims’ heads gruesomely displayed on a makeshift wooden table. A banner left at the scene accused the victims of being involved in the sale of “crystal” (methamphetamine).
The shocking discovery prompted a swift response from multiple law enforcement agencies, who confirmed the incident and secured the area to preserve the crime scene.
