In Forbesganj, Bihar, India, a street vendor named Ravi Chauhan, locally known as a seller of ‘sattu’ (roasted gram flour), beheaded pickup truck driver Ali Hussain in broad daylight over a minor parking dispute. Chauhan used a sharp weapon to sever Hussain’s head in the middle of the road during an argument about the placement of his vending cart.
Chauhan then paraded the severed head in front of hundreds of onlookers before leaving both the headless body and the head at the scene. Moments later, Hussain’s family members and local residents confronted Chauhan and beat him to death in front of police officers.
