Indramayu, April 30, 2026 — An unidentified man was found dead after being struck by a train on the Cipedang Jubleg railway line in Jayamulya village, Kroya district.
The victim’s severely mutilated body, with parts separated dozens of meters apart due to the impact, was evacuated to Bhayangkara Losarang Hospital. The deceased was described as a male with gray hair, wearing an orange shirt.
Initial findings indicate the man was on the tracks when a train approached from the west. Witnesses reported seeing him moving around the railway area shortly before the incident.
Preliminary suspicion points to suicide, though this has not been officially confirmed and remains based on witness statements. Police and authorities have transferred the remains to Bhayangkara Losarang Hospital for identification. Family members are being sought to recognize the victim while investigations continue to determine his identity and the exact cause of death.
