A man was killed and a woman suffered life-threatening injuries after a gas cylinder exploded inside a vehicle at an auto repair shop on Leguía street in Peru. The blast completely severed the man’s head, which was found detached on the ground.
The injured woman was rushed to the Regional Hospital. According to initial police findings, the deceased was a customer at the workshop.
Peru’s Criminal Investigation Department (DIRINCRI) and local security forces have cordoned off the area for forensic examination.
