Man Found Buried with Stab Wounds to the Stomach in Brazil

A man’s body was found buried with stab wounds to the stomach on Saturday morning (Feb 15) outside a house in Vila Mandacaru, Southeast Teresina, Brazil. Blood traces were discovered inside and outside the residence, leading authorities to suspect foul play. Firefighters unearthed the body after being alerted by the Military Police.
The homeowner reported that Francisco de Assis da Silva Borges, 37, was allegedly responsible for the crime. Police later found Borges near a wooded area, where he confessed to the murder. The victim, identified only as “Lourão” by neighbors, remains officially unidentified.
