A couple was shot dead in the Papua Highlands region of Indonesia. The West Papua National Liberation Army (TPNPB), the armed wing of the Organisasi Papua Merdeka, claimed responsibility for the shooting, accusing one of the victims of links to the military. A woman from the Unaukam tribe was also killed.
Social media reports claim the man was a former TPNPB member and his wife a strong supporter. A second scene involved the execution of another woman.
