TUXTEPEC, OAX. — Extreme violence has resurfaced in the Papaloapan basin region, where the dismembered bodies of six men were discovered moments ago. They may be the six men kidnapped the previous day in the neighboring town of Loma Bonita, Oaxaca.
The mutilated remains of the unfortunate victims were found on a disrupted section of Federal Highway 145, right on the border between the states of Oaxaca and Veracruz, very close to the towns of Agua Clarita and La Capilla. Authorities are currently carrying out the necessary procedures at the scene.
Police reported that a threatening message signed by a criminal group was found at the site.
