Tragic Accident: Young Man Dies After Clinging to Bus and Hitting Utility Pole in Recife
A 22-year-old man lost his life on Thursday morning (9th) after colliding with a utility pole while attempting to hitch a dangerous ride by clinging to the doors and windows of a moving bus. The incident occurred on Avenida Bom Jesus, in the Ibura neighborhood of Recife’s Zona Sul, according to the Passenger Transport Union of Pernambuco (Urbana-PE). The bus, operated by the company Metropolitana, was servicing the “Zumbi do Pacheco/Tancredo Neves” route.
