A devastating high-impact head-on collision between a semi-truck and a passenger car on BR-116 in Leopoldina, Minas Gerais, Brazil, claimed the lives of a married couple on Friday afternoon.
According to the Highway Police, the driver of the car reportedly crossed into the oncoming lane and struck the semi-truck traveling in the opposite direction. Heavy rain was falling at the time of the crash.
The woman’s body was crushed into a mass of flesh and one of her legs was severed and thrown nearby. Both occupants of the car died at the scene.
