Man Fatally Dismembered by Train in Ipu, Ceará
A man in his 30s was tragically killed after being run over by a train on the night of Wednesday, January 29, in Ipu, a municipality in the Serra da Ibiapaba region, 295 kilometers from Fortaleza, Ceará.
The victim, identified as Paulo Vinícius de Sousa, suffered gruesome injuries, with parts of his body dismembered in the accident. The incident occurred on the border between the Corte and Pereiros neighborhoods, near the access road to the Administrative Center.
During a live report, a relative of the victim told Ipu Post that Paulo Vinícius had been struggling with depression and had previously attempted to take his own life at least twice, including one attempt where he threw himself in front of a moving vehicle.
