Residents of Hamlet II, Pulau Gambar Village, Serbajadi Subdistrict, Serdang Bedagai (Sergai) Regency were stunned on Monday morning (March 9, 2026) after the discovery of an unidentified elderly woman’s body in highly suspicious circumstances.
Initial reports indicate the corpse had been buried beneath a pile of garbage and a large piece of wood at the scene. The grim find quickly drew crowds of local residents.
The case exploded online after a short video circulated widely on social media, originally posted by the Facebook account Anita Putri. The footage clearly shows the victim’s legs protruding from the heap of trash and wood, with several villagers gathered around the disturbing site.
