Man Arrested in Lima After Strangling, Dismembering, and Grinding Partner’s Body with Meat Grinder
La Victoria, Lima, Peru – A 29-year-old man, identified as José A.R.D., has been arrested after confessing to the brutal murder of his 30-year-old partner, Beatriz C.H.B.
According to police, the couple argued in their apartment after Beatriz confronted José about his infidelity. In a fit of rage, José grabbed her by the neck, strangled her until she died, then dismembered the body and used a meat grinder to further destroy the remains. He concealed the remains in the bathroom of the apartment, where he continued living with the couple’s two young daughters, aged approximately 4 and 7.
Authorities acted on an anonymous tip warning that José intended to dispose of the evidence. He was apprehended while carrying a box and a receipt for the meat grinder.
