A 26-year-old woman named Alfidia Arofah died instantly after being hit by the Supas Commuterline Train in the Porong-Bangil area, Pasuruan Regency, on Monday (April 6, 2026) at around 3:10 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
The train was traveling from Surabaya to Probolinggo when the driver spotted an object on the tracks. Witnesses reported that Alfidia Arofah, a resident of Beji District, Pasuruan Regency, was seen near the tracks and allegedly lay down intentionally as the train approached. The violent impact caused her death at the scene. Her body was taken to Bhayangkara Porong Hospital for examination. The motive remains unknown, though she had reportedly faced personal problems.
