A tragic and violent traffic accident shocked the residents of Boquira, in southwestern Bahia, early Friday morning (18). João Almeida de Souza, a resident of the Brejo Grande community in the rural area of the municipality, lost his life after being brutally struck on the BA-156 highway. The incident occurred near the region known as Zé Rachinha, close to the border with Macaúbas. The impact of the collision was so intense that the victim’s body was torn in half, leaving the scene horrifying and deeply disturbing for those who witnessed it. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
