Authorities are investigating three hypotheses: possible suicide, a fatal imprudence while trying to cross the tracks, or a strong argument in which the woman allegedly jumped and the man tried to grab her. Witnesses described the pair as embraced and crushed in a narrow 15-centimeter gap. The graphic scene caused strong psychological impact, with some onlookers taking photos out of morbid curiosity.
