A tragic traffic accident on Thursday night (28) claimed the life of physiotherapist JMA dos Santos, 33, on the BR-116 highway in Milagres, Ceará. The violent collision involved a motorcycle and a semi-truck and occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. near kilometer 498, close to the entrance to CE-293.
According to information from the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the truck driver remained at the scene after the crash, contacted emergency services, and fully cooperated with authorities. The impact of the collision was extremely severe, leaving the victim fatally injured and unable to survive his wounds. He died instantly at the scene, highlighting once again the deadly risks on one of Brazil’s busiest highways.
