Low-Altitude Missile Strike Hits Thukhayeiknyen Monastery, Killing Monk and Two Civilians
On the morning of February 8, 2025, at approximately 8 AM, a brutal missile strike targeted the Thukhayeiknyen Monastery in Myaing, Myanmar. Fired from a low altitude, the missile struck the remote monastery, killing two innocent civilians, U Thura Kyaw and U San. A monk was also killed in the attack, while another monk sustained injuries. The perpetrators remain unidentified, heightening fear and unrest in the region.
