An unidentified man lost his life after jumping from a 40-meter-high bridge into a deep gorge in East Java, Indonesia. Local residents, alerted by rumors of a planned jump, rushed to the scene and found an abandoned backpack on the bridge. Peering into the gorge below, they discovered the man’s lifeless body at the riverbed. The extreme height of the fall caused fatal injuries upon impact.
