Woman crushed to death in tragic accident in San Pedro de Macorís
SAN PEDRO DE MACORÍS – A devastating traffic accident on Wednesday night claimed the lives of a man and a woman on the Autovía del Este, near Juan Dolio. The victims, identified as Juan Daniel Valdez Pinales, 27, and María Antonio Reyes, were fatally struck by a truck while riding their motorcycle. The truck driver fled the scene but later crashed into an SUV. Valdez Pinales was rushed to Hospital Regional Docente Dr. Antonio Musa, where he was pronounced dead, while Reyes succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Authorities are investigating the incident and searching for the truck driver responsible.
